Most adults benefit from a dental check-up every 12 months, but we personalize our recommendations based on your needs. Not always. We only take X-rays when clinically necessary — based on your health, symptoms, or how long it’s been since your last set.

Not always. Cleanings and exams are often scheduled together, but they can be done separately depending on your appointment type and timing.
-
During a routine exam at Ocudent, you can expect your visit to take about 15–30 minutes. Once seated, a dental assistant may take X-rays (radiographs) if needed. These can include bitewings, panoramic, or periapical (PA) views, which allow us to see inside the tooth structure, between teeth, below the gumline, and at bone levels.
After the X-rays, your dentist will perform a visual exam and review any findings with you. We also use intraoral cameras to show clear images of areas you should be aware of, so you leave with clarity and confidence about your smile. This appointment includes a conversation about your oral health and any future treatment plans if required. Our goal is to make sure every patient feels informed and supported.
