Dr. Ryan Fleming

Moving from Drayton Valley to Red Deer at a young age, Dr. Ryan Fleming grew up watching his father, Dr. Barry Fleming, care for patients with kindness and integrity. Inspired by that example, he pursued a career in dentistry and is proud to now continue his family’s legacy as a trusted Red Deer dentist.
Dr. Ryan completed his dental education at the University of Alberta, where he developed a passion for comprehensive family care. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and takes pride in creating a calm, supportive experience! Whether it’s a child’s first dental visit, routine care, or helping someone through a more complex procedure.
In the clinic, Dr. Ryan’s focus is on building long-term relationships. He believes dentistry is most successful when patients feel heard, understood, and confident about their treatment choices. His approach combines clinical skill with genuine care, making him a reassuring presence for families across the community.
Outside of work Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors as well as playing and watching most sports (go Oilers!).
Dr. Kevin Urness

Dr. Kevin is proud to be born and raised in Red Deer, where he was lucky enough to have Dr. Barry Fleming and Dr. Tony Odenbach as his dentists growing up. He was very active in the sporting community, playing hockey (don’t tease him about being a goalie!), lacrosse, football and rugby. Coming from a big family, he was eager to get some freedom and moved to Edmonton to complete his Biology degree at the University of Alberta. He then completed his dental degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He was lucky to have many opportunities to study and research abroad throughout his education, and is happy to share those stories with any patients considering doing the same!
Outside of work, you’ll find him strolling the local trails with 2 daughters and his dog, or exploring the world by bicycle with his wife Lisa. He’ll be eager to practice his Spanish or French with anyone at our clinic, and is always looking to encourage his younger patients to look into a profession in the dental field!
He remains active in the dental community as a volunteer at the DooR (Dental Outreach of Red Deer) program providing urgent dental care to youth, and as the treasurer and an executive of the Central Alberta Dental Society.
You’ll see Dr. Kevin's schedule full of patients who have sought him out for his skills in removing teeth, placing implants, IV and oral sedation, dealing with wisdom teeth and other surgical procedures.
Dr. Andrea O'Connor

Dr. Andrea O’Connor is passionate about creating positive dental experiences for patients of all ages. With her calm, compassionate approach, she has become a trusted family dentist in Red Deer, known for helping even the most nervous patients feel comfortable and at ease.
After completing her dental degree at the University of Alberta, Dr. O’Connor was recognized with awards for both her academic excellence and her commitment to patient care. She continues to pursue advanced training in a variety of dental services and brings that dedication into every appointment.
She especially enjoys working with children and families, ensuring that each visit builds trust and confidence for lifelong oral health. Her philosophy of care centers on open communication. Taking the time to explain treatment options clearly so patients feel empowered and supported.
Outside the office, Dr. O’Connor loves spending time with her family and friends as well as staying active with skiing. Her blend of professional skill and genuine warmth makes her a valued member of the Ocudent team.
Dr. Kole Weik

Dr. Kole Weik is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental care. Born and raised in Red Deer, he values the opportunity to serve families in the area and is proud to be part of a clinic known for compassionate and trusted care. His approach is always patient-first, taking the time to listen, explain options clearly, and provide treatment that feels both comfortable and effective.
After completing his dental training at the University of Alberta, Dr. Weik returned home to build his career. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, from preventive care and restorations to more complex procedures, and is dedicated to staying current with advances in the field to ensure his patients receive the best care possible.
Outside of the dental office in Red Deer, Dr. Weik enjoys golfing, lacrosse, and hockey (let’s go Oilers!). Patients appreciate his easygoing personality and gentle approach, which makes him a trusted and valued member of the Ocudent team.
Dr. Michelle Hrdlicka

Dr. Michelle Hrdlicka is committed to providing personalized care that makes patients feel truly heard. She believes dentistry is about more than healthy teeth, it’s about building confidence and trust with every visit. With a particular interest in doing root canals, cosmetic dentistry and smile rejuvenation, patients often describe her as approachable and kind, which reflects her focus on making appointments calm and stress-free.
After completing her dental training at the University of Alberta, Dr. Hrdlicka returned home to Red Deer to practice in the community she knows and loves. At Ocudent, a leading Red Deer dental clinic, she enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but is especially passionate about preventive care and working closely with families to support long-term oral health.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hrdlicka enjoys staying active with sports and spending time with her husband and two kids. Her dedication to compassionate, high-quality care makes her a trusted choice for patients of all ages.
Dr. Harveer Bual

Originally from Calgary, Dr. Harvy completed his undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the U of C before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Sydney in Australia. With over three years of clinical experience, Dr. Harvy is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate dental care.
Dr. Harvy has a special interest in oral surgery, implant dentistry, endodontic and restorative procedures, and takes pride in helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. His approach to care is always patient-first and conservative, he treats every patient with the same integrity and honesty as he would his own family.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Harvy enjoys staying active year-round spending as much time possible with his 2 dogs Vito and Bear. He’s an avid hockey, basketball, and soccer fan, spending his summers on the golf course, and takes to the slopes during the winter months.
